Meet Kristina & Astro
A dedicated dog trainer and her beloved companion, Astro, united by a lifelong love and deep understanding of dogs.
Kristina’s connection with animals began in childhood, rescuing strays and bringing them home. Her first dog, Charly, a Standard Poodle, taught her unconditional love and became her partner in training classes and at her first dog show.
After moving to the United States more than 20 years ago, Kristina discovered a natural talent and passion for working with dogs. She began her career at a local pet resort, running off-leash playgroups and assessing canine behavior.
A graduate of Animal Behavior College, Kristina regularly pursues continuing education by attending workshops, courses, and hands-on training to stay current with evidence-based practices. She has been training dogs professionally for more than 17 years.
With a degree in Business Administration and a background in private banking in Estonia, Kristina brings discipline, patience, responsibility, and attention to detail to every client. Her combination of formal training, extensive hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of animal behavior allows her to treat each dog as an individual.
For Kristina, training goes beyond commands. It’s about understanding behavior, building trust, and strengthening the bond between dogs and their owners through clear communication and mutual respect.

My Training Philosophy

I believe every dog deserves a life built on trust, respect, and joy. My training approach is rooted in positive reinforcement and the principles of learning theory, using reward-based methods to encourage desired behaviors and build lasting confidence.
I focus on humane, science-informed socialization that considers each dog’s individual temperament, learning pace, and emotional needs. By understanding how dogs learn and communicate, we can create a stronger bond and make training both effective and enjoyable.
A well-trained dog is not simply a dog that follows commands — it is a dog that understands what is expected and feels confident in its relationship with its owner.
